Here are two fun Major type licks that both take place in the key of D. The first one is heavily based on something you’d find in one of my “Hendrix Style of Rhythm Playing” videos. I’ve always found soloing over major progressions can be a little harder than I felt like it should. It’s all those darn Minor Pentatonic licks we’ve all learned over the years :).
