Here’s a step you can take before the pain of the CAGED chords. What’s nice about them is it gets you thinking and understanding your fret board like the CAGED chords without the bummer of playing a barred C shape. Understanding and knowing your fretboard is the best way to learn chords, scales, arpeggios and all sorts of stuff. This is a way to know it, not just memorize is. Let it sink in and try this with as many Chord Progressions and Songs as you can!
