Here’s something I’ve alluded to in each of my interval exercise videos, but never demonstrated. There are four basic combinations on working through each interval exercise:
1) Ascend Scale – Ascend Interval
2) Ascend Scale – Descend Interval
3) Descend Scale – Ascend Interval
4) Descend Scale – Descend Interval
In my previous interval exercise videos, I always went through Ascending Scale while Ascending the Interval and Descending the Scale while Descending the Interval. As you can see, there are a lot of different combinations in which we can go through each interval exercise.
I have PDF’s of the 4 major combinations in the key of D major, going through all the CAGED shapes. Go ahead and move onto other keys, scales and intervals once you get comfortable with these!
