I discussed the basic idea of this in my other video, “Tricks to do over the “V” chord | Diminished Arpeggio”, but this is just straight to the meat of the idea. There are two ways to think about what we’re doing:

1) We’re adding the root note to our Diminished Arpeggio
-Take a look at my PDF and if you take away the Red Notes… it’s just a diminished arpeggio
2) Adding the b9 (half step up from our root) to our Dominant 7 arpeggios

This is a great sound. Give it a try over any “V” chord and have fun!
