*Guitar Solo = 1:49
*Vocoder Solo = 5:11
*Choir “Ah” Solo = 7:53

What a great tune! The song is in F and I go through 3 solos here: the guitar solo, vocoder solo and Choir (or “Ah”) solo.

The guitar solo is a great example of less is more. He mainly stays around the C shape position but sometimes creeps into the A alt shape. It also ends with a few consecutive thirds!

The vocoder solo mainly revolves around familiar triad/chord shapes but sometimes alters them to gain the melody note.

The Choir/”Ah’s” is something I add in my own performance of the song and if you’re not playing with a choir it does sound great as a “rock” lead part.

Dig!
