Here’s a great song that has some cool chords, riffs and just all around cool song! The great thing about this song is that he has basic ideas that he then morphs into other chords.

Example of that is in the verse and chorus riffs. In the verse he has a Dadd9 chord (an octave up) and only moves the root note of the chord to imply other chords.

In the Chorus the riff only moves one note at a time. Again starting out at one position and changing things only one note at a time to imply other chords.
