Here are two Rock Licks in the key of E that can spice up some of our lead playing. Both this involve using our “9th” of our Em scale but aren’t necessarily “9th licks” (as I annotated my “9th Licks” lesson video in this lesson). These are cool licks that base everything off the minor pentatonic scale, but also borrow from our minor scale.
