Now we’re taking the chord shapes and adding pentatonic shapes to them. Again, we’re using the CAGED chord shapes to see these pentatonic scales all over the neck. These scales are going to be used extensively in a wide variety of genre’s. It’s very important to start and end on the root note of the chord!

Cm Shape’s 4th finger is A Shape’s 1st finger
Am Shape’s 3rd and 4th finger is Gm Shape’s 1st finger barred
Gm Shape’s 4th finger is Em Shape’s 1st finger
Em Shape’s 4th finger is Dm Shape’s 1st finger
Dm Shape’s 3rd and 4th finger is Cm Shape’s 1st and 2nd fingers
