Here’s a great way to warm up your fingers as well as get used to diminished chord inversions across the whole neck. This diminished chord exercise is an awesome addition to any warm up as you don’t want to just warm up using single notes!
Each chord shape I play is an inversion of itself. That’s right every chord I play in the intro is only four notes: G – Bb – Db – Fb (E). Not only can we invert it by moving up 3 frets (something I talk about in this video lesson), but also using the chord shapes in the same manner as I do in the video. Cool!
