Here’s an phenomenal tune that we can make as easy or as tough as we want… “Eleanor Rigby” by The Beatles! Since the original is just strings, I implemented strumming patterns I thought mimicked them. The song is mostly just two chords, but I also went through a handful of the string licks! The chorus uses the concept I went through in the “Static Chord Licks – 2 | Minor” video, that m7-5 movement! Dig.
Intro/Bridge:
Cmaj7 – Cmaj7 – Em – Em
Strumming Pattern –
d d u u d u u d u u d u
1 2 + (3) + 4 + (1) + 2 + (3) + 4 +
The Intro/Bridge Lick starts on the 4th beat of the 3rd measure (the first time we play that Em)!
