*Beginner/Easy way to play it begins at 8:14.

Here’s a great acoustic song that I go through in an intermediate way to play and then a Beginner/Easy way to play. The intermediate way to play has a lot of Barre Chords and I even give you a few options for the “Interlude Chord” which happens throughout the song.

The Intro lead line relies heavily on resolving to chord tones so I also try to make sense of why he’s ending where he’s ending it.

-Intermediate Version-

Verse/Chorus:
B – B – F# – F# – G#m – G#m – E – E

Interlude Chord Options:
C#7 – C# – C#/F – C#7/F

Bridge:
B – F#/A# – G#m – F# – E – E – Interlude Chord for two measures

-Beginner Version: Capo 4-

Verse/Chorus:
G – G – D – D – Em – Em – C – C

Interlude Chord:
A7 or A

Bridge:
G – D – Em – D – C – C – A7 – A7

Both share the same Rhythm:

B B d u B B d u
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
