Intermediate = 3:11
Intermediate v2 = 4:53
Advanced = 6:21
So “Happier” is cool song, but why so many versions dude?! I tend to think of a lot of songs as sketches, how much color we add in is entirely up to us and our level. So I like “Happier” as an example of that. It can be as simple as we want (the bare sketch) or as flushed out as we’d like.
Beginner – Capo 5:
Main | Am – C – F – F
Bridge | F – C – G – Am
Intermediate:
Main | Dm – F – Bb.F – Bb
Bridge | Bb – F – C – Dm
Intermediate v2 – Capo 5:
Main | Am.G/B – C.C/E – F.C – F.G/B
Bridge: F – C – G_ Am
Advanced:
Dm.Bb/D – F.F/A – Bb.F – Bb.Bb/D
Both the Intermediate v2 and Advanced versions follows the piano pretty faithfully and incorporate a lot of slash chords as transition chords.
The Beginner and Intermediate v2 versions use a capo on the 5th fret.
So color it to your hearts content. Dig!
