From Michael Jackson to Justin Timberlake to Steely Dan, these slash chords are a chord that I’m sure we’ve all heard before. I not only go through the chord shape on 3 string sets (6th, 5th, 4th) I also go through their common movements and a good way to implement them.

Often I hear them substituted for a dominant chord, the V chord. A common movement is the slash chord then b9 then I chord. That doesn’t mean you always have to do that movement, but just a good way to get them under our fingers.
